Veteran actress, Hilda Dokubo has declared interest in contesting for the House of Representatives under the platform of Labour Party.
She would be representing Asalga/Akulga federal constituency in the lower legislative chamber.
The 52-year-old made the announcement on her social media platforms on Wednesday.
“My dear people, I write to apply. Yours OBIdiently,” she simply wrote.
Hilda has continued to intensify her support for Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
On August 27, she led thousands of youths in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a two million man-march for Obi.
The actress and others gathered at the Oil Mill Junction along Aba Road, from where they marched to Isaac Boro Park in Mile one, wearing branded Labour Party T-shirts while dancing in a carnival like atmosphere.
