The lawsuit filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate in the last gubernatorial polls in Enugu State, Uche Nnaji has suffered a setback.
Nnaji had sought legal redress to challenge the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Governor Peter Mbah, unfortunately, his suit was dismissed by the Supreme Court on Friday, September 15.
A five-member panel of the apex court in its ruling on Friday ruled that the legal team of the APC and Nnaji filed an invalid brief of argument and failed to convince the court with a concrete reason why the appellants’ incompetent brief should be allowed.
