Armed thugs, today, attached the residence of Sunday Igboho popularly called Sunday Igboho.
The attack which took place at the Soka home of the detained Yoruba Nation agitator left one person dead and many others injured.
Lawyer to Igboho,Yomi Aliyyu ( SAN), confirmed the invasion saying that many of the campaigner’ s aides and associates sustained various degrees of matches wounds.
Aliyyu reminded The PUNCH that the armed thugs stormed the same house of Sunday Igboho that the Department of State Services attacked on July 1, last year.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, did not take his calls when contacted.
Recall that the DSS had in July, 2021, attacked Igboho’s home, killing two aides and arresting about 12 others.
The secret police subsequently declared the yoruba activist wanted for allegedly running arms and ammunition.
Following the crackdown, Sunday Igboho went into hiding as the Federal government launched a manhunt for him.
He was later arrested at an airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic, were he was about to board a flight to Germany alongside his wife, Ropo Adeyemi.
