The world woke up this morning to news of the death of the legendary South African Bishop, Desmond Tutu.
Early reports said he died at the age of 90. The information was confirmed on Wednesday morning by his fellow human rights activist, cleric and Bishop of Johannesburg, Stephen Moreo.
According to him, “ATTENTION. The Anglican Diocese of Johannesburg receives now the sad news of the death of our dearest Archbishop Desmond Tutu.“
However, publication by the TutuLegacy, debunked the rumour this afternoon saying the human rights activist is not dead.
