Celebrated Professor Ishaq Oloyede may cease to be the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registrar from tomorrow if his appointment is not renewed by the Federal Government.
The JAMB boss is celebrated for making the government and people of Nigeria aware of the fact that the board is indeed a high revenue generating agency.
He consistently remitted hundreds of millions of Naira annually as profit from JAMB, a situation that has never been seen since the establishment of the examination body.
Oloyede’s tenure and those of 13 other appointees of agencies of under the Federal Ministry of Eduction come to an end on the 31st of July.
The chief executives were appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 1st of August 2016. They were sworn in by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu at the National Universities Commission (NUC).
There is however, no official communication regarding the end of their tenure but they would officially stop reporting to work today, 30th July, 2021.

- Prof Abubakar Rasheed: Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC)
- DR Hameed Boboyi: Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Board ((UBEC)
- Prof Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe: National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB)
- Prof Sunday Ajiboye: Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
- Prof Chinyere Ohiri-Aniche: National Institute of Nigerian Languages
- Afolabi Aderinto: Computer Registration Council of Nigeria (CRCN)
- Prof Garba Dahuwa Azare: National Teachers Institute (NTI)
- Prof Michael Afolabi: Librarian Registration Councillor Nigeria (LRCN)
- Prof Steven Enugwu Onah: National Mathematical Centre, Shedda
- Prof Lililan Salami: Nigerian Institute for Educational Planning and Administration
- Prof Lanre Aina: National Library of Nigeria
- : Prof Abba Haladu: National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non Formal Education
- Prof Bashir Usman: Nomadic Education Commission
