The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammed is reported to have tested positive for coronavirus.
Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, a member of the Supreme Court made this known today, December 15, during the unveiling of the national headquarters of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN).
The 66-year-old Tanko Muhammed was conspicuously absent at the swearing-in of 72 new Senior Advocates of Nigeria on the 14th of December.
The ceremony was presided over by the next most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour.
Justice Muhammed is reported to have been flown to United Arab Emirates for treatment.
