The operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arraigned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal Hight for the continuation of his trial.
Kanu was brought before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to continue his trail on charges of terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.
The trial is holding behind closed doors as all entrances to the court are securely locked while the hearing continues.
Hetty Os Blog earlier reported that the Federal Government of Nigeria announced the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
He was apprehended and extradited with the collaboration of the Nigerian security operatives and the Interpol, according to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
The Minister is quoted on Tuesday by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) as saying that Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday.
Kanu was taken to the Federal High Court amidst heavy security. He arrived the court premises at 1:40pm on Tuesday.
