The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is reported to have arrested Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode.
According to Channels Television, FFK arrived the Lagos office of the anti-graft agency at about 1:00pm on Tuesday accompanied by his lawyer.
He is alleged to have been arrested for document forgery and manipulation.
This is however, not the first time the former Peoples Democratic Party chieftain has been arrested by the EFCC.
Nonetheless, his arrest is a surprise to many considering he only defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress a few weeks ago.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud (419 fraud) and money laundering.
