Igbo traders woke up to yet another tale of woe as a fire outbreak completely razed the Olowu spare parts market in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.
Many shops were engulfed by the inferno, which mostly contained air-conditioners for sale, parts of vehicles, and motorcycles, among others.
The goods lost to the fire are estimated at hundreds of millions of naira as traders count their losses.
The situation has been brought under control as men of the Lagos State Fire Service and security operatives are at the scene.
The tragedy is comes three weeks after a similar incident occurred at Akere Spare Parts Market on Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa in Ajegunle.
