Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho has revealed that he has no wherewithal to fight a Local Government Chairman talk less of the Federal Government.
He submitted the Yoruba emancipation struggle to God and maintained that his rallies have been peaceful so far.
In a video posted on his social media pages, he told his followers that the planned Yoruba Nation Rally will still hold in Lagos on the 3rd of July.
He disclosed that nobody has so far challenged the planned Lagos rally but advised that whoever has reservations should say so in a video.
Igboho added that Lagos residents are ready for the rally because they know it will be peaceful like those already held in Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and other Yoruba States.
He also revealed that the Yoruba Nation project has been funded by people in the diaspora and insisted that he cannot do it alone.
According to him, “Those abroad are the ones contributing the money we use in buying vehicles and do other things. How many can I do ? Sunday Igboho is not the only powerful person. There are many powerful people everywhere unless we want to deceive ourselves. I cannot do it alone. But someone must lead first. Moses was chosen to liberate the Israelites before others joined him. God will fight for us.
“I don’t have the power to fight Federal Government. In fact, I can’t fight an ordinary Local Government Chairman. But the battle is the Lord’s. God is the head of th battle and he will fight for us. Our own generation will emancipate the Yoruba from slavery.
Igboho urged all Yorubas to participate in the rally but ent ensure it is peaceful. “To all Yorubas, come out on July 3 for the peaceful rally. We should not fight. We only want to tell Buhari that all we want is the Yoruba Nation. Nobody should threaten us with death. You cannot kill us. There is no life champion, but a current champion.”
