The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that an unprecedented 87,209,007 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) have been collected across the country.
The announcement was made by INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu on Thursday during a media briefing at the national collation centre in Abuja.
He added that the number increased after the Commission extended the deadline from January 29 to February 5.
