Dr Chike Akunyili, Husband of Nigeria’s former famous National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) boss, Prof Dora Akunyili has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.

Reports say he was was killed on Tuesday on his way from Onitsha through Umuoji to Agulu, Anambra State.

Details are still sketchy but will be published as they unfold.
