A passenger train has collided and crushed a Lagos state government BRT staff bus at PWD junction, Ikeja area of the state.
The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday, while commuters rushing to work.
According to an eyewitness, the train was coming from Agege and crash into a BRT vehicle with the Lagos state government workers on board crossing the rail to link Ikeja GRA.
It is still uncertain the number of casualties but the BRT bus was smeared with the blood of victims.
The accident has caused a massive gridlock on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway for motorists coming from Oshodi around Shogunle to Ikeja-Along.
