Nigeria’s national grid on Wednesday, December 11, collapsed for the 12th time this year after previous multiple incidents.
The latest incident happened around 1:32 pm, plunging the entire country into darkness again and leaving many homes and businesses stranded.
Since January 2024 until date, the grid had collapsed 11 times.
Within one week in October, the grid collapsed three times.
A tweet from the official handle of Nigeria’s National Grid, said: “A major grid setback has occurred and the restoration is to commence.”
Several Distribution Companies immediately send notices to their customers.
