Femi Osibona, the owner of the 21-story Ikoyi edifice which collapsed earlier in the week has been found and confirmed dead.
Osibona who was the Managing Director of Fourscore Homes Limited was trapped inside the 21-storey mansion which was still under construction.
His friend, Bob Oseni was also confirmed to be with him within the building. However, no information has yet been received about Oseni who is said to have stopped by to see Osibona before heading to the International airport to catch a flight.
The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA confirmed the development to newsmen on Thursday evening after the rescue team had reportedly discovered Osibona’s body.
Meanwhile, a probe Panel has been inaugurated by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to investigate the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident.
In another press release, the governor declared a 3-day mourning for victims of the tragedy.
Publisher of Ovation magazine, had earlier reported that Osibona and Oseni were still trapped in the building .
