JUST IN ! Protests Great Disappearance of Father Mbaka in Enugu – BBC News Igbo, Others

Protests have broken out on the streets of Enugu as residents insist on knowing where Rev Fr Mbaka is.

Reports have it that the DSS cannot yet tell whereabouts while people of Igbo extraction advise that care be taken to ensure he is returned unhurt.

Spokesperson for the DSS, Peter Afunanya is quoted by South East Daily@southeastdaily as saying that “Mbaka is not with the DSS. The DSS did not pick him up, please.”- Peter Afunaya For DSS.”

DSS has said that Rev Father Ejike Mbaka is not in their custody.

Another report said that the popular Catholic Reverend Father was kidnapped by unknown gunmen as he was rounding up with morning mass this morning.

Igbo youths are reported to have given a 48-hour ultimatum to Mbaka’s abductors to produce him.
