The Senator charged with assaulting a woman in a sex toy shop, Elisha Ishaku Abbo has ditched PDP, the political party under which has was elected and joined the APC.
The youngest Senators in Nigeria, Abbo who represents Adamawa North made public, his defection in a letter to the House.
According to him, his decision is premised on the mismanagement of the party funds in his home state by Governor Umar Fintiri.
A few weeks ago, the Senator was ordered to pay the sum of N50 million to the lady he physically assaulted at the Abuja sex toy shop.
The assault was widely condemned by politicians, actresses and the civil society.

In another video, Abbo was seen vehemently condemning the APC and vowing never to have anything to do with them.
According to him, “APC is a grand fraud, expert liars. They are first class propagandists. They thrive on propaganda.
“They have spent so much money on the media…”
As he ditches the PDP to the same APC he said all this about, Nigerians wonder what his next rhetoric would be.
Nigeria’s youngest Senator also last week, condemned the use of social media in the country at the senate, calling for it to be regulated.
