A former two-term Governor of Kano State in Nigeria, Ibrahim Shekarau has lost his 5-month-old baby girl.
Reports say the baby who was the former governors youngest daughter died in a hospital in Dubai where she receiving treatment for a yet to be disclosed ailment.
The incident was confirmed by the Special Adviser to Shekarau, Sule Yau Sule who also disclosed that the baby girl has been buried in the country where she died.
According to Sule, “On a sad note, we wish to announce the death of the youngest daughter o hi Excellency, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a 5-mont-old baby who died today.
“She was already buried in Dubai where she was hospitalised.”
