JUST IN ! Shooting as Loyalists Protest Siege on Okorocha’s Residence

Breaking News !

Security operatives on Tuesday fired gunshots and teargas to disperse loyalists of the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha who stormed his residence to protest against the invasion of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives, earlier on Tuesday afternoon, laid siege on the residence of the presidential aspirant.

The officers accused Okorocha of jumping bail to evade corruption charges filed against him.

The protesting loyalists and newsmen at the scene of the incident scrambled to safety following the gunshots.

EFCC officials insist they will not leave the premises unless the presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress is arrested.
