The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have finally arrested the former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The anti-graft agency officials laid siege on the politician’s residence nearly all day on Tuesday and gained access into the house.
They forcefully evacuated everyone from the premises, using teargas to disperse all and smoke out everyone within the house, including journalists from the compound.
The EFCC had accused Okorocha of refusing to honour invitations to him after jumping the administrative bail granted to him following allegations of stealing public funds to the tune of N2.9 billion.
