Nollywood actress, Sola Sobowale, has revealed that Nigerian filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba is very instrumental to her rise to stardom in the movie industry.

Sobowale who first caught the attention of viewers in Super story by veteran movie producer, Wale Adenuga said that in 2018, Kemi’s ‘King of Boys’ shot her to stardom due to her alpha female role and the strong personality she played in the movie.

Speaking about her lead role in the movie, the actress in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, said Kemi Adetiba brought her out.

Sola said there is something spectacular about Kemi and she knows her more than she knows herself.

According to the actress, although it might sound like a broken record, she will still reiterate that Kemi brought her out.

She said: “There’s something about Kemi Adetiba. Kemi Adetiba will tell you who Sola Sobowale is. I don’t even know myself. Kemi knows me more than I know myself.

Kemi Adetiba brought me out. I will say it anywhere. I don’t mind if it sounds like a broken record. I will echo it. I will sing it. I will shout it. She brought me out.”

The veteran actress added that she never watched herself in movies but she had to watch King of Boys.

Sola said: “I don’t watch myself but I had to watch myself during King of Boys”
