Nigeria’s socialite and billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana; media personality, Daddy Freeze and now famous photographer, Ojo Emmanuel on Friday, accompanied pure water seller, Ekuma Jeremiah to receive his university admission letter.
The development was confirmed by Jeremiah himself on his instagram account.
The former pure water seller, now renamed by Emmanuel as Jerryluck took time out to express gratitude to Obi Cubana and others who made his re-admission to Ebonyi State University possible.
Jeremiah told BBC in a video feature story that he was a student of the institution but was forced to drop out because he could not fund his education beyond year 1.
He was a promising Law student at that time and now grateful to return to pursue his passion.
According to jerryluck_ “Special APPRECIATION POST FOR THESE 3 WONDERFUL MEN GOD SENT TO ME @obi_cubana@daddyfreeze@rockyemmyphotography My Admission at EBSU Have been REINSTATED, SO I WILL BE RESUMING BACK TO SCHOOL SOON##. Really!!!! What GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST.”
Jeremiah won the hearts of Nigerians after he was spotted by Emmanuel sharing his meagre day’s proceeds from selling pure water to prisoners being conveyed in a van.
The video of the gesture soon went viral with many people sending money to a bank account opened for him by Emmanuel Ojo.
With the help of Daddy Freeze, Emmanuel and Jeremiah met Obi Cubana who promised to help him through school and placed him a N100,000 monthly salary.
