Rashidat Bello, wife of Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, who is said to be wanted by the said to be Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over a N3 billion fraud, has paid a visit to Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari at the presidential Villa.

Mrs Bello was at the Aso Rock Villa with wives of other governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Rashidat Bello was declared wanted after she failed to show up at the Abuja Divison of the Federal High Court over money laundering and misappropriation of about 3 billion Naira.

Rashidat, who was arraigned in absentia, is facing an 18-court charge.

In spite of her failure to show up in court, she took to her Facebook page to announce her presence at a meeting with Aisha Buhari and others.

She also shared photos of herself in the company of the women.

Rashida Yahaya Bello wrote on Facebook, “Few days ago at the presidential Villa where the wife of the president-elect, (the) wife of the vice- president-elect, myself and other governor’s wives, as well as APC stakeholders and members, paid a courtesy visit to the mother of the nation, Dr(Mrs) Aisha Buhari.”
