Nigeria’s Labour and Employment Minister, Dr Chris Ngige has celebrated his daughter, Marilyn Azuka Ngige who got inducted into medical practice on Friday.
The event comes in the amidst the ongoing nation-wide strike by medical doctors.
The 69-year-old proud father marked the event with his wife, friends and family members. The venue was the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
It is also proof of the Minister’s assertion during one of the industrial actions embarked upon the Academic Staff Union of Universities that all his children attend Nigerian tertiary institutions.
A friend and kinsman, President-General of Alor People’s Assembly, Uzoma Igbonwa posted pictures of the excited daughter on his Facebook page of their community.
