Labour Party Factions Clash in Court, Tribunal Adjourns Sitting (video)

The 2 factions of the Labour Party on clashed within the court premises today when the Lamidi Apapa group arrived the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The group made to sit at the section of the court that the Julius Abure faction reserved for its members but was ordered out following which a very round verbal outburst ensued.

The Apapa faction was forced to find another section of the room while the court officials reminded everyone that it is officially not allowed to reserve seats within the premises.

The tribunal subsequently adjourned the pre-hearing of the petition against the President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to Friday, May 19

The court headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani fixed the date, following the failure of parties in the petition to agree on documents among other reasons.
