Wigwe University has officially commenced academic activities, and a young lady who recently got admitted shared a video of her first day in one of Africa’s most expensive tertiary institutions.
The undergraduate is upbeat about her future experience at the university which was established by late Herbert Wigwe, the former CEO of Access Holding Company.
Just like Michelle who shared how she prepared before travelling to the school located in Isiokpo, Rivers state, a number of other new intakes have equally shared their experiences.
Michelle said she went shopping, made her hair, carefully packed her bags, and then flew to the school.
When she arrived at the school, the Wigwe University signboard could be seen as they drove in. She went through the statutory registration before she was shown to her hostel. She showed how neat and beautiful the hostel looked as she started to unpack her things to settle in.
Earlier in July, Michelle announced that she got a full scholarship to study Computer Engineering.
In a related story, a Nigerian lady who is a student at Wigwe University has shared a video showing herself and other students in class. Wigwe University is located in Isiokpo and was founded by Herbert Wigwe, the late CEO of Access Bank.
One of the people she met in class was Nollywood actor Sam Dede. She is not yet sure if he is a lecturer or a student. When the lady was asked how much it costs to be a student at Wigwe University, she said the lowest school fees is N9.8 million.
Members of the public who heard the fees said the school is for children of the rich.
