Adetutu Balogun, a popular US-based entrepreneur and socialite, also known as “tutsy,” has taken to her Twitter page to plead the blood of JESUS over her life as the Ooni of Ife followed her.
She said that before following her, the said account, Ooni-of-Ife, which is obviously a parody account of the Yoruba monarch, liked a couple of her pictures.
Adetutu Balogun tweeted a screenshot of the activity and expressed her apprehension afterwards.
She wrote:
“When Ooni follow you and liked you pictures on IG…
“Moi: LOL. l cover my TL with blood of Jesus!” She wrote.
Adetutu’s post may not be unconnected to the monarch’s marriage to 6 women within 2 months.
Nigerian social media users have also taken to different social media platforms to express their thoughts about the many nuptials within such a short period.
Many have now renamed him as the “horny of Ife.”

SirDavidBent: “This “Horny of Ife” stuff is highly disrespectful though. Inasmuch as we catch cruise, make jest and find humour in many things as Nigerians, it is important that we should never forget our cultural values. The Ooni of Ife is a revered monarch. This should not change.”
