The government of Lagos state has announced the end of the 50% rebate on transport fares on all regulated buses.
The discount was announced on Feb. 8, 2023. In a new development, the government said it will stop by the end of March and the bus fare will return to 100% by April 1, 2023.
Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) gave the update on Wednesday, March 28, via Twitter.
