A lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Braimoh is dead.
He died this morning, 10th of July, precisely 2 weeks after the death of a Senator, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Adebayo Osinowo also known as Pepperinto. They were both from the district.
Daily Times reports that Braimoh gave in to complications arising from #COVID19 at the Yaba isolation centre.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Kosofe Local Government Area, Taiwo Fadipe confirmed the sad incident to newsmen.
Prior to his death, the Lagos lawmaker was the Chairman, Lagos State House Committee on Information, Security and Strategy.
Other positions held by Braimoh are Chairman, House Committee on Judiciary, Petitions and Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
Tunde Braimoh also served as the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area. The Local Government Area has however, been renamed as Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area.
A Lawyer by profession, he was survived by a wife and children.
