Lagos Parks and Gardens Boss, MC Oluomo Leads His team on Street Rally in Lagos (video)

The Chairman Lagos Parks and Gardens, MC Oluomo today, September 9 lead members of his team on a solidarity rally in support of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

He was accompanied by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the “5-Million man walk” in Lagos State.

Despite heavy the early morning heavy downpour Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, led the different groups during the walk.

The rally which was sponsored by MC Oluomo witnessed a large number of supporters who converged on Teslim Stadium and National Stadium, Surulere.

The solidarity match held ahead of the 2023 general elections had in attendance Nollywood stars led by Saidi Balogun.

Some of the Nollywood stars were dressed in different colours of insignia bearing Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.

Security agencies comprising the Nigeria Police, Department of State Service, DSS, and Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps. LNSC and several others provided security for the residents and participants.

MC Oluomo disclosed that the decision to hold the rally as earlier scheduled followed approval by APC chieftains and stakeholders in the state.

The rally, tagged, “Mother of all Rallies,” is kicking off from Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere Local Government Area of the state en route Funsho Wiliams Avenue to terminate at Bolade Oshodi area of Lagos State.

According to MC Oluomo, “This is a mega rally, we are shutting Lagos down for Asiwaju Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.

“This is to show our support, strength and capacity for APC candidates because they are the best for the job at hand.”

Giving an update on the rally, the Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor Gboyega Akosile said: “Happening live: 5 million man walk being held in support of the APC Presidential candidate @officialasiwajubat and Governor @jidesanwoolu in Lagos. This rally led by chairman Lagos State Parks and Garrages Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) and Team Lagos.“

Unlike the Obidatti rally 2 weekends ago, there was no show of force for the APC rally that held on Sunday.
