Funke Akindele, the popular Nollywood actress and deputy governorship candidate of the PDP in Lagos State has taken an early action following the announcement of the victory of the incumbent Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
She appears to have conceded defeat in her brief foray into politics and is set to return to her acting career.
Even if the PDP has not officially accepted the outcome of the election, Akindele in her characteristic manner seemed to have moved on so quickly.
A check on her Instagram page shows absolutely nothing about politics, a development that has stirred public reactions.
