Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, announced a further increase in the minimum wage.
Speaking on Wednesday during an interview with Channels Television, Sanwo-Olu said that the minimum wage for civil servants in the state is ₦85,000.
He said, “I’m glad to let you know that the minimum wage for Lagos, which we have discussed with our union, is ₦85,000 today.”
