Lami Phillips Attacked for Resurfacing after Fleeing Social Media following Death of Her Student at Dowen College

Actress, singer, songwriter and director at Dowen College, Lami Phillips Gbadamosi got more than she bargained online after speaking on the desperation among new moms to snap back.

Lami Philips shared her thoughts while reacting to a post of Kylie Jenner showing off her body after two kids.

The singer stated that being a mother is complex and challenging enough and one doesn’t need to add that kind of pressure to her reality.

Part of the post read: “So this is the problem. I don’t care whether it’s surgery or natural weight loss, young girls and new mothers will see this and think something is wrong with them”.

“Being a mother is complex and challenging enough, you don’t need to add this pressure to your reality. Be healthy but please please.. your body has been through a lot bringing a baby to the world, you don’t need any layer of pressure in your mind. Freedom is an inside job”

The post earned her criticism as many who came across it attacked her on how she was quick to comment about a women affairs issue when a young student died under her watch, in her school.

After Sylvester Oromoni’s death, Lami Phillips fled social media and refused to speak on the issue to date.
