A Nigerian man identified as Sam Hart has taken to social media to announce the inauguration of his ‘Made In Aba’ clothing line in the United Kingdom (UK).

While many Nigerian clothing retail stores place huge orders for ready-to-wear clothes with strict instructions to place global brand labels on them, Hart chose to come clean.

His first shop is based in Portsmouth and is stocked with 100% made in Aba items, making it the first of its kind in the UK.

The buddining entrepreneur shared photos of the opening of the shop on his Twitter page.

His message indicates that he is originally from Abia State and he confirmed that he is a proud promoter of ‘Made In Aba’ goods.

Sam Hart stated that, that was his motivation to set up a store abroad where only made in Aba clothing will be sold.

The Abia indigene is also the Director-General of Abia State Marketing and Quality Management.

Obviously set to give a popular Indian clothing line a run for its money in the UK, he shared photos of customers already patronising his business moments after the official opening.

According to Sam Hart@hartng· I’ve opened my shed in Portsmouth. Let me attend to customers. #MadeInAba

Markate is moving. Thank You Jesus. #MadeInAba

· @hartng Nice one Chief. I can see Mr Mobu, the man on suit. We were church members at the Winners Chapel in Pompey (Portsmouth). He owns an African store for food stuffs too. Well done.
