A Nigerian man is alarmed by the large stash of old naira notes stashed under the bed by his wife.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) redesigned the N200, N500, and N1000 notes and placed an ultimatum for the exchange of the old notes with the new ones.
In a video making the rounds of social media, the man expressed shock at amount of old N1000 and N500 notes kept under his bed by his wife.
It was obvious that the woman regularly tossed the notes away from him for quite a while.
He revealed that the discovery was not intended, rather his charger fell under the bed. In course of searching for it, he dabbled into the old notes and took to sweeping them together with a boom.
He lamented how his wife always insisted on being broke whenever he complained about being broke.
