A 30-year-old man, Saheed Baruwa who was declared missing 12 days to his wedding is reported to have been released by his captors.
Reports say the plumber left his home on Tuesday, 7th of December to work around Gbeja area of Oshogbo but did not return home.
Family and friends shared messages online asking the public to assist locate him. They left contact phone numbers as the groom’s weeding was fast approaching.
Friends say he was lured by people who claimed to have a plumbing job for him. He obliged them and entered their vehicle not knowing they were kidnappers.
Baruwa is said to have been kidnapped along with 2 others but he was abandoned in the forest after he personally paid his ransom.
The kidnappers are said to have forced him to empty his account.
Giving an update, on the incident, Honourable Sherifdeen Olalekan Ademola said the other 2 are still in the kidnappers’ den as they do not have money to pay.
According to Honourable Sherifdeen Olalekan Ademola,
“The kidnapper’s dump Saheed Baruwa at big Forest in ibokun after forcing him transfer all money remain in his account.
“Yesterday: Saheed Baruwa was tease to come for plumbing_ work at osun_jela which he agreed and enter car with them @onababaona_okebaale not know they come to kidnapped him.
“Only Saheed out of three victim they kidnapped has enough money in account that’s why they released him. according to #Saheed
“Definitely the remaining two still remain in thier custody #kidnappers
“My_quetion Are we safe……..????“
