The masked soldier who asked colleagues not to kill #EndSARS protesters has been arrested by the Nigerian Army.

Lance Corporal Harrison Friday had completely masked his head and face and gone on social media to make the video post to his his colleagues.

The video which surfaced last week saw Friday asking his colleagues to understand that the protesters were fighting for a better Nigerian.

He advised them to support the unarmed protesters as they as soldiers also stood to benefit from their agitations.

According to him, “the fight the civilians are fighting is our fight, do not let them (the Nigerian government) use us.

The Army command announced on twitter that the young soldier had been arrested for cybercrime.

The message posted earlier today, 21st of October reads that the hooded soldier hiding behind the mask to commit cybercrime has been apprehended in the ongoing cyber operations in support of crocodile smile.

“Rest assured cybercriminals have no hiding place.”

Nigerian soldiers attached to the 81 Division, Bonny Camp have been accused of unleashing mayhem on unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos on Tuesday night.

This accusation has been denied sparking escalating violence and arson across Lagos and some major cities across the country.
