"Gist"

Arise TV anchor,  Rufai Oseni has raised alarm after he was threatened by members of a political party in an elevator.

The outspoken journalist revealed this in a post shared on his Twitter page in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to Rufai, he calmly walked away without deigning any of them an answer.

In a series of tweets, he stated his stance about the situation of Nigeria’s politics.

oseni rufai @ruffydfire said: “Abuses everywhere, people from a political party saw me an threatened me in an elevator.I just walked away, I have learnt it is not everyone you respond to.

Politicians think of the next elections, Leaders think of the next generation.I always think of the next generation that’s more important than the petty politics of today.

One thing I can assure you is,I will keep being objective and I only care for logical views. This I would continue to espouse.

For me, these group of politicians will be irrelevant in the next 30 years, but what becomes of the future generations.

The priority is to build a nation where peace and Justice shall reign.

For me, I don’t seek to be popular, but I don’t fear people in stating my views because I have deep love in my heart.Perfect love removes fear.”
