Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye has sent a message to Nigerian University lecturers.
She urged the lecturers to report any student who tries to offer them s*x for grades noting that it is not in all cases that lecturers make the first move.
She said this on Thursday, June 20 at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja during the launch of signage initiatives aimed at combating s*xual abuse, bullying, and negligence in hotels, schools, and hospitals.
The Minister also introduced guidelines for hotels, hospitals and schools, including: Ensuring there is a teacher present in every primary and secondary classroom, assigning four teachers on duty to supervise children during breaks outdoors, mounting CCTV cameras around school premises.
