An eerie scene emerged on Monday showing a team of Minneapolis police killing of an unarmed black man outside a departmental store.
The Black man, George Floyd was handcuffed by the police officer who responded to calls by a the store attendant. The attendant called in the officers to deal with a customer who presented a counterfeit bill.
On arrival, Officer Derek Chauvin not only handcuffed Floyd, but pinned him down to the floor even when he did not resist arrest. Chauvin held Floyd down with his knee hard on the concrete pavement for at least 4 minutes until passed out.
A video footage shows that even when Floyd became unresponsive, Chauvin held him pinned down for another 5 minute. Despite the deceased crying that he could not breath, Chauvin held him down while his colleagues watched obviously enjoying the brutality.

Police Department identified the other police officers as Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J Alexander Kueng. Following the viral video which sparked violent protests in Minneapolis and across the world, The 4 police officers only got fired.
The African American community in the U S has called for charges of murder to be passed against the officers. The streets of America has also not known peace since the killing of the unarmed black man.
Speaker of the House Nancy, Pelozi has called the incident “MURDER !”
In her opening remarks at her weekly news conference on Capitol Hill, she revealed her disgust very clearly.
According to her, “We’re also very sad about what happened in the case in Minnesota. “…to watch Mr Floyd be murdered in a video at a time when we’re all so sad to begin with – it’s always tragic. It has always been tragic.
But there we saw it on TV and being murdered on TV.”
