Mobs have stormed the streets of major cities in Niger to attack politicians both male and female.
Describing them all as corrupt, the mobs broke into office and residential buildings to pull the politicians out, dealing jungle justice on them all.
As at the time of this report, no fatalities have been recorded but there are fears that the violence might escalate as the military appears complacent.
Nigeria’s Shehu Sani while giving an update regretted that “It’s sad to see people trooping out in support of the coupists instead of protesting against them.Dark day for democracy.“
