Mohbad’s Mother Raises Alarm as Armed Men Kidnap Singer’s Younger Brother (video)

The late Nigerian singer, Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Aloba, is currently very distressed as she pleads for urgent assistance to rescue Adura, Mohbad’s younger brother.

According to SaharaReporters, Adura was abducted on Wednesday afternoon by unidentified armed men, suspected to be police officers, as he was leaving the Magistrates Court in Ogba, Lagos.

A family source revealed to SaharaReporters that Adura had appeared in court regarding a legal case involving a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde, which led to legal action against actor Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde, and others.

Adura alleged that they hacked his TikTok account through the phone and used it to tarnish his reputation.

The family source said, “Damola had tried to misuse the phone’s social media account, which he failed to log out of, in an attempt to extort Yomi Fabiyi.

“A forensic examination of the phone has been conducted, and the court is continuing its investigation.

“However, following today’s proceedings, Adura alongside two others were apprehended by unknown individuals who are believed to be police officers.

“Meanwhile, Mohbad’s mother is unaware of her son’s current location and pleads for the public’s help, urging Nigerians to come to her aid.”

In a video obtained by SaharaReporters from a family source, Mohbad’s mother was seen crying profusely inside a vehicle, lamenting that unknown individuals had taken her son away and that she had no idea where they were taking him.

Abosede, speaking in Yoruba, claimed that Adura was taken by Yomi Fabiyi and one Sam Jojo, adding that Adura is unwell.

She said that Fabiyi, Jojo, and their lawyer had been pleading with her since Wednesday morning over the matter, but she told them that the case was already in court and there was nothing she could do.

She cried out, “Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him.

“It’s Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo who took him. My son did nothing to them. Dear Nigerians, please stand by me.

“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him — he is sick.

“The real culprit has already confessed and admitted to doing it. They’ve been begging me since this morning, even his lawyer pleaded with me. But I told them the matter is already in court — there’s nothing I can do.

“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”

Adura had demanded a public apology from Fabiyi, Ayinde, and others, accusing them of hacking his TikTok account to tarnish his reputation.

He pledged to pursue legal action against Fabiyi, Ayinde, and all those allegedly involved in the breach of his privacy.

Additionally, SaharaReporters earlier reported that Adura had initiated a legal case against Fabiyi, seeking N1 billion in damages for serious allegations, evidence tampering, and fraudulent actions that unjustly implicated him.

SaharaReporters made several attempts to reach Yomi Fabiyi for a response, but he did not answer calls to his mobile phone.

A text message was also sent to him seeking his reaction to the allegations, but as of the time of filing this report, he has neither responded nor returned the calls.

Efforts to get a response from the Lagos State Police Command were also unsuccessful.

When contacted, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, declined the calls with an automated message stating he was unavailable to answer at the moment.

A text message regarding the incident was sent to him, but he had not responded as of the time this report was filed.
