The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar earlier today, Saturday suffered a gaffe during his campaign in Kogi State.
The PDP flag bearer in the company of PDP stalwarts had stormed the Kogi Confluence Stadium to woo the people and get their support for the February 25 presidential election.
Atiku, his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, and several other stalwarts of the party stormed Lokoja, the state capital to convince the electorate to vote for the party.
The rally held at the Kogi Confluence Stadium is the first campaign Atiku will hold since he returned to Nigeria after about two weeks outside the country.
The former Vice President returned to Nigeria on Friday, 13th January.
Curiously, while addressing the crowd of supporters who had thronged the stadium in Kogi, Atiku mistakenly said Nigerians should vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC), but quickly corrected himself.
