Lotonna Ojukwu, the younger brother to the late warlord, Odumegu Ojukwu has revealed that most Igbos do not believes in Biafra.

According to him, the majority of Igbos only want equity and a sense of belonging in Nigeria and not Biafra.

Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, Lotanna said most Igbos are doing their businesses across Nigeria because they believe in Nigeria.

According to Lotanna: “Most Igbos do not believe in ‘Biafra.’ What they want is an equal share and acceptance in Nigeria. If we love being by ourselves so much, why should so many Igbos live and do business all over Nigeria and Africa?”

We had reported earlier that Lotanna urged President Bola Tinubu to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

He said releasing Kanu was the panacea to the escalated violence caused by the sit-at-home syndrome across the Southeast.
