Joy Nnajiofor, a mother of five, has shared a reconciliation loved up video with her abusive husband hours after she took to social media to cry out for help.
Joy’s husband was previously seen brutally battering her, leaving her with gaping injuries to her body. He was also said to have assaulted her sister who lives with them.
However, in the loved up new video, the husband thanked the Nigerian police force and the people on social media who helped restore peace in their marriage.
He also said they would no longer be going to court as they have settled things amicably.
Joy expressed her gratitude to well-wishers who gave them advice on how to settle their issues. She also went on to thank the police, welfare, and DPO. No word was however, said about the anti-domestic violence activist, Harrison Gwamnishu and his team who rushed to her rescue.
Mrs Nnajiofor made news when her sister, Obi Cynthia, came out to cry for public assistance to rescue her. According to Cynthia, Joy has suffered acts of domestic violence from her husband in eleven years.
