Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been visiting the families of victims of the plane crash that claimed the lives of four of Nigeria’s military generals and other officers.
She consoled widows, relatives and gave relief and emotional support to each of them.
Reports say that her first port of call as soon as she heard the news on Friday, the 21st of May was home of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru where she met his wife, Mrs Fatima Attahiru. She went in company of the wief of the Chief of Defence Staff, Mrs Victoria Irabor.
By Saturday, May 22, Mrs Osinbajo made a return visit to the Mrs Attahiru at the Flag Staff House, Niger Barrack to further console the grieving widow.
On Sunday, in company of wives of service chiefs, the 2nd lady paid a condolence visit to the wife of the Provost Marshal, Brig Gen Olatunji Olayinka and spouses of other deceased officers.
She then proceeded to the Nigerian Airforce Base to see the families of Flt Lt AA Olufade, Sgt Adesina and ACM Oyedepo.
