The Founder of Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church, Funmilayo Adebayo, Popularly known as Mummy G O recently showed off her life of luxury as she enjoys her trip to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The controversial preacher recently caught the attention of social media users through her sermons on modesty and simplicity as recipes to avoid hell fire.
She has once again confused her fans as she posted herself in her white pyjamas in a luxurious hotel in Dubai while taking everyone on a tour of the lavish hotel as she laughed heartily.
Nigerians have also taken to social media to describe how poverty and misery lead many to religion and they soon forget their sermons the moment they get a taste of luxury.
Many berate her hypocrisy especially with regards to modesty. Others wonder if she paid for the luxury with a MasterCard that she called on her fans to avoid to make heaven while others wonder how she got into Dubai if she did not take the Covid-19 vaccine jab she asked her congregation not to take.
Reacting to the video, Reno Omokri via the microblogging platform, Twitter noted that Mummy GO’s excitement over her Dubai trip proves that religion strives because of suffering.
He maintained that when one travels out, things they fast and pray for will seem so elementary. He further urged the controversial evangelist to enjoy her stay and try as much as she can to avoid hell.
In his words, ”That Mommy GO video in Dubai where she was excited like a teenager vindicates what i said in 2021. Religion thrives in Nigeria because of suffering. If you relocate abroad, the things you fast and pray for now seem so elementary. Enjoy Dubai Funmi, but avoid hell.”
