Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress has been tackled by Northern muslims on Twitter.
This comes after the politician called Allah ‘a father’.
It was gathered that Tinubu made the statement during a recent rally.
Social media users mainly from northern Nigeria slammed Tinubu over the choice of word.
Reacting, a Twitter user AAKafarda wrote:
A Muslim calling Allah ‘a father’!
SubhanAllah. Calling Allah a father is an act of Shirk (polytheism) in Islam.
Allah (The most exalted) said in the Holy Qur’an: He has begotten no one, and is begotten of none. (Chapter:112, Verse: 3)
