The convener of Nigeria’s socio-political movement, #OurMumuDonDo, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has mocked the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi over his divorce sage with wife, Queen Silekunola Naomi.
Olori Naomi, on Thursday, published a statement on her Instagram page, announcing the end of her 3-year marriage to the revered monarch.
She stated that her decision was due to irreconcilable differences between her and her husband and not based on his decision to marry another wife.
The evangelist disclosed that she tried to make the marriage work and that the king’s public identity is different from his true self.
The palace of the Ooni, in a reaction to the alleged separation of Queen Silekunola Naomi from Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II told Punch that the social media pages of the queen were possibly hacked.
The palace spokesperson, Moses Olafare disclosed that the king slept in the same house with his queen and so it would not be possible for her to divorce him by the morning.
In his own reaction to the development, Charly Boy via his instagram page mocked the first class monarch, asking why his wives ran away from his kingdom in the space of 2 months
He further stated that despite the handsomeness the Ooni possessed, he was still divorced on Instagram.
