Lawyers at the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference organised a novelty football tournament in Abuja.
The match was between the Abuja and Onitsha based lawyers and was well underway when a player shoved his colleague. As the colleague retaliated, friends from both sides joined the melée and traded fifty cuffs very freely.
It is not certain how the fracas was resolved but many watchers outside the bar and the bench have expressed disappointment at how the lawyers continue to disgrace the honourable profession.
About 4 days ago, 3/4 of lawyers stormed out of a much anticipated night party when Portable was announced as the guest artiste .
The controversial street artiste made his dramatic entrance into the venue half naked, hopping from chair to chair and climbing lighting poles within the venue, all to the utter dismay of many of the lawyers.
In 2022, many lawyers allegedly broke into the store where souvenirs were stored and looted nearly everything.
